John Howie Bringing a Restaurant & Brewery to Bothell

John Howie is one of the most well known chefs in the Seattle region. You may recognize his name from John Howie Steak in Bellevue, although he’s been running restaurants in the area for years.

And this September, he’ll be opening another restaurant and brewery, right here in Bothell. The Beardslee Alehouse is slated to open up at The Village at Beardslee Crossing, consisting of a 10-barrel brewery featuring some of the best local craft beers, along with a full menu that speaks to a “farm to table” philosophy, with everything made fresh in-house. That means that all the bread will be baked fresh, all meat will be processed on premises, and of course, there’ll be a full-service bar featuring local wines in addition to the local beers.

John Howie Restaurant Group currently includes John Howie Steak, Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar in Seattle and Bellevue, SPORT Restaurant and Bar and Adriatic Grill Italian Cuisine & Wine Bar. He is also the author of "Passion & Palate: Recipes for a Generous Table."

“We are thrilled to be coming to Bothell,” Howie said. “We see great growth and opportunity in the Bothell area, and look forward to bringing our exceptional products and services to the city.”

"We really want Beardslee Alehouse to be a stopping place for people," Howie said. "It will be a place where people of any age can come and appreciate. We will offer budget friendly foods, but also pricer options for a fancier night."

The place should even be relatively affordable, with items as low as $7 and as high as $18.

The new restaurant will be located at 19116 112th Ave. NE. Beardslee Alehouse will be in suite 103 and 201 and Wildwood Spirits Co. in Suite 102.
